Time for my annual winge about cauliflowers
They need their overcoat of leaves to protect the curd
Otherwise we get this
Instead of this!
So walking through the field this morning we have quite a lot of brown cauli which was too small to cut before the frosty weather but had opened up too much to have the protection of the leaves.
