An apology! We seem to have jinxed the weather by getting the irrigator out, looks like it can be put away until next year now!

Project weeding!

The brassicas have been struggling a bit with the lack of rain but the weeds seem to have been doing well. Everyone is weeding today. Roger did these two beds in about two and a half hours yesterday, the ground conditions are just right for the job so everything should be looking tidier over the next few days.

Generally the autumn/winter veg is looking promising...

Red cabbage won't be ready for a while yet but the plants have a good starting frame so they should be a good size.

on Saturday - Henley on Thames, Charlbury, Stroud, Headington, Little Chalfont, Kings Norton, Cirencester and Edgbaston

on Sunday - Summertown, Willersey, Ascot and Caversham

These big boys are not usually the ones that do the damage to the growing plants, it's the sneaky little ones that continue to plague us.
